Our Training & Placement Department is putting in all efforts by organizing several placement activities throughout the academic calendar. The department has also organized certain workshops and various softskills sessions which help students to enhance their placement opportunities.

Director (Academic & Corporate Resources) & incessant efforts of his dedicated team, which is responsible for organizing various Training & Placement activities, placements have taken place with the most reputed companies like TCS, Accenture, Infosys, Sapient, Wipro, Aricent, Nucleus, IBM, HCL, L&T Infotech, Satyam etc.The institute has also been able to forge a strong bond with the industry due to strong emphasis on Industry Academia interaction. This has resulted in setting up centres of excellence & other campus connect activities.

MSIT as the Hexaware centre of Excellence

M/s Hexaware Technologies, have made MSIT as a nodal centre for Northern region for Early Intervention Program (EIP) for campus selects & making it as Hexaware Centre of Excellence (HACE) or HEXVARSITY Centre.


MSIT as the Microsoft Nodal Centre in the North India

The giant of giants ie. Microsoft chose MSIT as a nodal centre in northern India for conducting its unique placement drive exclusively for women engineers of batch-2008 held on March 08, 2008 to coincide with the International Women’s Day. About 1300 girls from various engineering colleges in North India including IIT, NSIT, DCE, NITS etc, participated in this drive.This was a repeat performance of MSIT vis-à-vis Microsoft who had conducted a similar drive earlier in the year 2004 also. Microsoft also offered MSP, MSDN & G0-Alive challenge Program as a part of the package to a preferred institute.


MSIT as Oracle Centre in Database Management Systems in Delhi region 
                                      

MSIT continues to be the only Workforce Development Programme (WDP) centre of Oracle in Delhi region. The centre facilitates our students getting excellent benefit of doing Oracle authorized training in association with Oracle University of M/s Oracle Corporation, USA, the undisputed world leaders in Database Management System (DBMS). Most of the MNC’s and other PSUs use this system. This substantially enhances employability of our students.


MSIT as one of the Preferred Partners of Tata Consulatancy Services
                                                                    
                                                                        

As a brand building initiatives of our institute, one of the landmark achievements was accreditation of MSIT by Tata Consultancy Services, a world class organization, making it a preferred partner from amongst the Academic institutions to recruit our students in large numbers. TCS Campus Recruitment Team visited MSIT for Campus Recruitment on March 6-7, 2008 and selected 67 students of 2009 batch, making it the best conversion ratio amongst NCR colleges. In addition TCS is conducting regular Faculty development / Student Development Program in niche technologies from time to time for benefit of our faculty / students.


MSIT as one of the partner of C-DAC

C-DAC has specially included our college as a part of their National Tech-Sangam Programme for faculty & students development to bridge the gap between Industry & Academia. To achieve this objectives series of activities are planned like:

Selection of our students for overseas placements

WYVIL SYSTEM INC, a Chicago, USA based company selected a large number of students from Batch-2009 for their placement primarily for the overseas location of WYVIL at Chicago. Wyvil also plans to conduct training on business intelligence through online transmission beamed directly from their Chicago location. Subsequently they plan to setup a high quality SAP lab facility at our location.


MSIT as Infosys Campus Connect Partner

MSIT is a key partner with INFOSYS Technologies for various activities related to their campus connect program, an excellent initiative in the field of INDUSTRY~ ACADEMIA relationship. This involves conduct of tech skills / softskills programs including niche technology workshops / seminars for students & faculty alike by use of direct sessions at their development centre in Chandigarh as well as by Videoconferencing, teleconferencing & webinars. The interaction is further enhanced by conduct of high level contest series in Programming, Paper presentation, Quiz & Distinguished students short-listing.


MSIT as mission connect partner with WIPRO

To further enhance the excellent relationship between WIPRO & MSIT and to recognize MSIT as a centre of excellence, WIPRO is conducting a very high end Faculty Development Programme involving 10 faculty members each from 3 leading colleges of IP University wherein MSIT due to its excellent infrastructure, facilities & high standing is made as the HOSTING college & other two colleges as additional participating colleges. The aim of this highly innovative workshop is to further enhance content deliverance capability of faculty so as to enhance employability of engineering graduates through innovation by ten times.


MSIT as IBM AIP partner for DB-2& CERTIFICATION

This excellent part of IBM Academic Initiative Program pertains to imparting free of cost training in DB2(9) & subsequent global certification by IBM. This is available only to the students of best of colleges & that is how it was made available to MSIT which IBM is seriously contemplating to turn into a Centre of Excellence. The students clearing certification in DB2(9) will be allowed to go for further high end training in RAD (Rational Application Developer). The students with the intimate knowledge of these two will go for IBM-TGMC 2009 (The great mind challenge contest) which helps them to showcase their excellent skills acquired in these IBM testing tools.
