To become one of the most admired centers of academic excellence in the area of Engineering & Technology for all � round professional development of students in the fields of Electronics, Communications , Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Electrical & Electronics Engineering to enable them to meet the growing technological needs of the country.

The Institute started under graduate courses in Engineering in the year 2001 with intake of 180 students. The Institute strives to introduce Post Graduate Engineering studies by the year 2010 in the field of Computer, Electronics and Information Technology. By then, we would have established sufficient experimental facilities to introduce research work leading to Ph.D. and also provide consultancy services to the industry.
