A well established & organized Department with well qualified and experienced faculty. Department is having the laboratories like Analog Electronics, Communication Systems & Circuits, Microwave and Antenna, Digital Circuits and Systems, Electrical Science & Electrical Machines. The Department shares Microprocessor and Hardware lab with Computer engineering department.All the labs have latest and modern CROs, Function Generators, Trainers and equipment as per the syllabus of GGSIP university.The Microwave Communication Engg. Lab has the facility of practicals on antenna trainer kit with more than twenty different antennas and microwave test bench with additional attachments.


Modulation techniques like PPM, PWM, PAM,PCM, PSK, FSK, Hamming Code Receivers & Transmitters and Fiber Optic Trainer are few worth mentioning technologies available in the Communication System & Circuit lab. Logic gates, Arithmetic circuits, Flip-flops, Shift Registers, Counter, ADC & DAC are integral part of Digital Circuits & Systems lab. Electrical Sciences lab houses all the experiments as per B.Tech syllabus however some additional practicals can be performed on machines as it has DC Series & Shunt motors, Synchronous motor, Induction motors and three different Motor Generator sets. The department has experienced and qualified faculty. Guest faculty is invited from the institutes of national repute regularly.

Analog Electronics Lab Basic principles of electronic circuits are assimilated in two sessions (semester 3 and semester 4) of circuits laboratories.

Digital Ckt. & System Lab Digital Principles, Basic IC's and digital systems design including - Flip-flops - Code converters & Counter ICs ADC, MUX & DEMUX, RAM & ROM chips

Microprocessor Lab (8085 and 8086) Trains the student in basic programming techniques, interfacing with peripheral devices (8253,8254,8255,8251,8271, ADC, DAC etc)

Telecom/Communication Lab

VLSI Design Lab
Lastest technology CPLD and FPGA (kits) are available in the VLSI Design lab.

Digital Signal Processing Lab

Satellite and MobileCommunication Lab
This lab consists of satellite trainer kit, Antenna trainer Kit, different type of Antenna, GSM Trainer Kit and other tools, which help the students to understand the concept of satellite and mobile communication.

Consumer Electronics Lab This lab helps the students to understand the designing of various consumer electronics goods like T.V etc. It has various setups for performing experiments on consumer electronics concepts and live models.

Control Lab
This lab has been sey up at a cost of about Rs. 5 lac for final year students. It consists of hardware practicals which help the students to understand various control techniques and also software package such as control tool box, fuzzy tool box neura tool boxes.

Microwave Lab
this lab designed as per course in 6th semester and all worth mentioning technologies available in this lab.
